One month passed from the moment when the release of X-Cart 5 was announced, and we're already rolling out an update with several notable improvements. Two new payment gateways, gift certificates, abandoned cart reminder, improved customer experience on checkout, upselling tools, product reviews and more. Plus compatibility with X-Cart POS, which is currently in BETA, but coming soon.
Today is a perfect day, especially for the fans of X-Cart 4 Classic: we're announcing the release of a new version. The main changes of X-Cart v.4.6.2: USPS integration updated; "Bestsellers" module rewritten not to rely on "Advanced Statistics"; "Product returns" available for "anonymous" customers; "X-Payments subscriptions and installments module" included into X-Cart package; "Ideal Responsive" set as default skin, email notifications got responsive, too; jQuery and other JavaScript libraries updated.
It's time to introduce a new release of X-Cart, please meet version 4.6.1. In the previous major release we optimized the speed, included a responsive template and added several integration modules, so this time we decided not to add new major features. Instead, we collected the feedback of our community and focused on it. That's why you will not find new integrations any major changes this time, only minor improvements - but lots of.
Our team has done a great job to create a completely new platform: with X-Cart 5 you will enjoy quick and easy upgrades, flexibility in customization and modern UI. Now we're announcing Beta-testing, with the stable release being expected in a couple of months. Just out of curiosity or because of promised award (we're giving out 30 licenses!), you may want to play with it, report the issues, share the ideas and thus help us to make it better!
X-Cart, the fastest shopping cart software is becoming even faster (we concentrated our efforts in complex speed improvement in this release), moreover, X-Cart has a new generation Responsive skin out of box now.
