Today we're announcing the stable release of X-Cart 4 Classic. It contains a number of new features and improvements, and we believe you will like the updated package. Read the details inside.
Having announced the availability of X-cart 5.2.2, we saw several alike complaints: Cache rebuild fails on step 5, and the store would return an error. Investigating the problem we found out that it appears in those store, which run on servers with MySQL v.5.6. This problem is not in X-Cart core, but in the upgrade process itself, which remains incomplete.
It's a major step forward. The new version contains several important improvements like webmaster mode, responsive email templates, that you can edit in WYSIWYG editor, layout changes both in the storefront and in the admin area. The ordering system was revised, we also added multicurrency and wishlist, and many, many other nice things worth checking ;)
We're happy to introduce the new branch of X-Cart, it's 4.7.x. We took decision to start with Beta, as it contains a number of serious changes. Please expect the stable version in a month or so.

5.1.11 is released. It contains a major security update. For the sake of security we will not share in public the details of the vulnerability found, but we strongly recommend that you upgrade the store asap. You're welcome to contact us if you have questions or need any kind of assistance. In addition to the security update, the new version contains several minor fixes.
The main reason of today announcement is in your pocket, or in your hands or is lying next to you - wherever exactly your smartphone is, I bet you never leave it alone for too nuch time, and feel pretty uncomfortable if this almighty gadget is forgotten at home. Not much time passed from the moment when the first cells - heavy, brick-like, with expensive calls - came to our life, but in less than a decade they got packed with cameras, browsers, tons of games and applications we can't imagine our life without.
Today X-Cart 5.2 Beta is becoming available for public. We do not recommend building a production store using this beta package. It's for testing purposes only. The release of a stable package of version 5.2 is scheduled for March. Read more to discover the new features X-Cart gets!
